serve to lead or lead to serve
which do u think is the making of a true leader?
is it "serve to lead" or "lead to serve"?
For those who is confuse on the difference... a 'serve to lead' person is someone who believe that one should serve ppl first before one can be fit enough to order other... while a 'lead to serve' to serve person believe that one should lead ppl first before one can serve... still confuse? then sorry for my bad command of 'England'... or rather it is not my side of the problem in the first place... still confuse?
Hmmm... it is a rather subjective qns... but personally i am a "serve to lead" person... i feel that being leader means u should serve other before urself... n also to put other welfare before u... that is perhaps wat they call 'a servant-leader'... it is only after u have done ur part that u can begin to judge other... lead other... but in the first place who are we to judge ppl anyway... who gives the autority... the permission to say that... 'i can lead u', 'u are my servant', u are under me'... no one have the right to do so...
when u wanna lead someone, u have to gain the other person respect and not under any stress or pressure that the person does wat u tell him/her wat to do... perhaps i should phrase it as... u can tells the wat to do... but in the end it is up to the person to see if he/she wanna follow ur order or not... so... if u wanna lead someone, lead by examples, gain ppl trust and respect... at least when they are under u, they know that u have done it urself before, u have also been through the similar 'servant' stage that makes them willing to follow u...
that why when i do things i always tries to do it by myself... then it is up to other ppl whether they wanna to help u or not... fair enough... no one owes u to be ur helpers and i don't owe anyone to be their helpers... HARSE? but that is the world, the society, the reality we are living in... face it ppl... the world is never fair... it can only try to be fair... don't blame other if other are willing to help u or not available when u need their support... bear urself for needing their help... if the person can help u, y can't u help urself? unless you are paralyse or ill... even so a paralyse person is able to be independent...
though we are not living alone in this world... everyone is in actual fact living in their own internal world... it is only human to be be selfish... how many times have you seen beggers begging on the street? okie... Singapore seldom have beggers.. let me rephrase my qns... how many times have u actually donated to charity or volunteer ur help to the needy? or how many times have u rejected to help them? Compare this two u will get the same ans as me... human is more selfish in times when ppl require ur assistance... perhaps u might say that the fundraisers are less selfish... they sacrifice their time to help the community... so much for the fundraising and CIP held by school... are we volunteering or being volunteered anyway...
SO... get ppl to respect u... trust u... and let them know that u really sincere toward them and u might find that u are not alone... because in our selfish internal world there are still spaces for other to live in... that why when ur family or friends encounter problems or troubles you know u will be there for them no matter what happen... hence give urself to other, someone might take u in and protect u in their internal world... let ppl be 'selfish' for u... Confuse?
